This is a sampler built on squares. The base is cross stitch surrounded by satin stitches with specialty stitches in the center. Two different heart motifs anchor this advanced beginning piece. It is NOT suitable for stitching on Aida because of the specialty stitches and Hardanger. The stitcher should be comfortable working on non Aida fabric and counting over varying numbers of threads.
